Blue Monkey – Conscious Clubs & Festivals
Blue Monkey is a conscious club originating in Berlin, Germany that hosts special ceremonial, conscious dance events and festivals. Featuring great Berlinian and sometimes international club music and ecstatic dance DJ talent, the events usually start with a ceremonial prayer to go within together as a group before the celebration. To connect with ourselves and honor the sacred. After we become still and get connected to ourselves and the sacred we can more safely go outside and connect to others from the heart.

Blue Monkey – Our Values
Our values are to foster play and friendship in a non-judgemental space in which we can be just as we are, vulnerable, raw, in our perfect imperfection, nurturing and empowering each other. We aim to co-create a space which you can enter even alone and exit with the feeling that you made some new friends and heartfelt experiences. We have learnt that this naturally brings about transformative processes and creates deep connections that can even become lasting friendships.
Together, we want to co-create a magic utopia of love and freedom where magic exists and it feels safe to show yourself and interact with others!
Blue Monkey is a space in which it is possible to drop our societal masks and flow together. It is our aim to keep it conscious and safe and offer an alternative to Berlin’s regular club life that nourishes our human need for dance, ecstasy and community in a more balanced way.
The Blue Monkey Club is a space that is judgement-free and colorful. Everybody is welcome at the Blue Monkey, regardless of their gender, sexual orientation, cultural background, age, etc.
Just be who you are, respect your own and other’s boundaries and be kind to everybody around you including yourself!
Blue Monkey – Maya Astrology
Blue Monkey is inspired from Mayan astrology in which it stands for the inner child and its innocent curiosity and playfulness. Looking at its surroundings and the other people with big, curious eyes, Blue Monkey is completely in awe about the world’s beauty and all the miracles in it. If we reconnect to our inner children and allow ourselves to play and flow, we start to see the world with children’s eyes again and everything becomes magical.
The nice thing about Mayan Astrology is that every of the 20 archetypes stands for a specific human superpower and we need all of them. Everybody has their role and their lessons to learn in this life but we are all in it together and only together we can evolve and co-create a more beautiful world.
Do you remember how things looked completely different when you were a child? Bigger, more interesting, maybe even mythical? When I was a child my parents used to go with me to this museum. There was a huge dinosaur skeleton built up there that impressed me a lot. I used to dream about it and made up moving and colorful stories in my mind about that dinosaur’s life.
Years later as an adult I went to the same museum again and found out that it was actually an elephant’s skeleton, not a dinosaur’s! All these years I have been 100% convinced that it was a real dinosaur’s skeleton! You could call it the illusion of a child of course but then again you could also call it magic! The way children see the world is not less real than our’s. It’s just more magical. And that’s really the super power of the Blue Monkey, to see the world in the light of magic. Which can bring dinosaurs back to life…
